Victor Osimhen Reacts Angrily As Nigeria Settles For 1-1 Draw Against Zimbabwe

A viral video circulating online captures the moment Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen stormed off the field in frustration after Nigeria’s 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe.
The Super Eagles had multiple chances to extend their lead. Wilfred Ndidi missed a golden opportunity in the 83rd minute when he failed to convert a pass from Moses Simon. Shortly after, Osimhen was substituted due to a cramp, with Victor Boniface coming on in his place.
In added time, a defensive lapse allowed Chirewa to capitalize, securing an important point for Zimbabwe. The result leaves Nigeria in third place in Group C, as Lesotho’s late goal against Rwanda prevented the Super Eagles from moving up the standings.
Following the draw, Osimhen was visibly upset as he left the pitch, ignoring Boniface’s attempts to console him. The striker, who played a crucial role in Nigeria’s previous 2-0 victory over Rwanda, was clearly disappointed with his team’s inability to maintain their lead.

@obaksolo : He’s justified to get upset. When you do so much with team who are supposed to support. He plays with so much passion.
@nessaslide : Was The Coach Supposed To Bring in an Attacker When We Needed To Defend?? There Was No Need For Boniface Today.. Ekong You Have Been a Very Fantastic Player To Us That’s Why I Still Find it Difficult To Blame You But if Truth Must Be Said The Way it’s, You Didn’t Do Nothing in Today’s Game And You Caused The Goal Too.. I Know How Many Times Calvin Covered Up For You Today.. I Mean Y’all Should Have Same Passion As Osimhen And Calvin😢😢.
