Tinubu has stabilised security in north-west and the region is faring well under him – Governor Uba Sani

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has lauded President Bola Tinubu for what he described as a significant improvement in the security and agricultural landscape of Nigerias north-west region. Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) north-west stakeholders meeting in Kaduna, Sani said the zone, once plagued by terrorism, banditry, and kidnappings, has seen notable progress under Tinubus leadership. Before President Tinubu assumed office in 2023, the north-west zone was the epicentre of banditry, terrorism, kidnapping and other violent crimes, the governor said. You could hardly travel from one place to another. Farmers could hardly access their farms. Life was indeed nasty, short, and brutish. At a point, the situation appeared hopeless. But two years in the saddle, the situation has changed. Sani, who also serves as the APCs coordinating governor for the region, attributed the turnaround to President Tinubus rural development efforts and security interventions. President Tinubu has not only stabilised the security situation, he has boosted agriculture in the north-west with the provision of farm inputs, he stated.
