Three injured as trailer crashes into residential building in Jos

At least three people were injured after a trailer crashed into a residential building along Bauchi Road in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State.  The accident happened on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 when a front tyre of the trailer burst, causing the driver to lose control.   The vehicle, which was headed to Bauchi, veered off the road and slammed into the house.  Eyewitnesses said it took nearly an hour to rescue the victims, including the badly injured driver.   All three have been taken to the hospital for treatment.  The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Plateau, Peter Yakubu Longsang, confirmed the incident, noting that the trailer has been removed and normal traffic has resumed.
